UAE Innovation Week was a nationwide celebration of innovation for everyone in the UAE in line with the directives of His Higness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. It was one of the largest innovation initiatives in the world with consolidated effort by government, the private sector and individuals to help create a widespread culture of innovation in the UAE.
ARN Innovation winner, Imtyaz Arshad was a brilliant idea and a century old problem. A new type of charcoal that would save thousands of trees that are cut across the world to make the more traditional form of charcoal.
