COMPETITIONS – GENERAL TERMS
1. Our Competitions
We own and operate a number of radio stations (“Stations”), each with a dedicated website (“Site”). From time to time we run on-air and online promotions, prize draws and competitions (“Competitions”).
2. Entering Means You Agree
By entering a Competition, you confirm that you have read and accepted these General Terms and any additional rules shown in “Competitions – Specific Rules”.
If you do not agree, do not enter.
3. Entry – General
3.1 Competition rules, instructions and prize details published on air, online or in other media, together with these General Terms, form the full Terms & Conditions.
3.2 These Terms are legally binding once you enter.
3.3 We are not responsible for competitions run by third parties.
3.4 No purchase is required unless stated.
3.5 If we suspect fraud, dishonesty or behaviour that could negatively affect the Competition, we may disqualify you without notice.
3.6 You must follow all reasonable instructions from organisers.
4. Eligibility
4.1 We may verify your eligibility.
4.2 You must live in the UAE and must not work for us, the sponsor, or be closely connected to them.
4.3 Entries must be individual. Bulk, syndicate or automated entries may be disqualified.
4.4 Use your legal name.
4.5 You or anyone in your household may not win more than one prize within 30 days.
4.6 If age-restricted, you confirm you meet the age requirement.
4.7 Previous winners of recurring contests may be refused.
4.8 High-Value Prize Rule
If you or your direct family members have won a prize worth over AED 10,000, you cannot enter future competitions with prizes above this value.
5. Health & Safety
By entering, you confirm you participate voluntarily and are medically fit.
We may disqualify you if your behaviour risks safety.
You must inform us of medical or travel issues.
No alcohol or illegal substances.
6. SMS & Telephone Entries
We are not responsible for network or technical failures.
You are responsible for correct spelling and any provider charges.
If we cannot reach you, another entrant may be chosen.
7. Winner Verification
We may require ID, age/residency proof, or interviews.
Failure to cooperate may lead to disqualification.
Prizes must be claimed within 28 days.
If notified in error, we may withdraw the prize.
8. Prizes
Accepted at your own risk.
Non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
We may substitute with equal value.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged deliveries.
9. Holiday Prizes
Must be taken as specified.
You are responsible for passports, visas, insurance and extra costs.
Travel details may change without liability.
10. Ticket Prizes
You must follow venue and promoter rules.
11. Online Voting
One vote per registered email. Multiple votes may be disqualified.
12. Disqualification & Cancellation
We may disqualify or cancel if reputation is at risk, rules are breached, errors occur, or circumstances require.
13. Confidentiality
Do not publicly discuss your participation or winnings without written permission.
14. Personal Data
We may collect and use your personal data for Competition purposes.
You confirm you have the right to provide the information.
15. Publicity
Winning may require participation in publicity.
We may publish your name and broadcast related material worldwide.
16. Intellectual Property
By entering, you grant us full rights to use submitted content in any media. You confirm you own it, it breaks no law, and people shown have consented.
17. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses or events outside our control.
18. Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims resulting from your breach of these Terms, misuse of systems, or incorrect information.
19. General
Judges’ decisions are final.
Late or incomplete entries are void.
We may amend terms.
Participation is at your own risk.
No fee is payable.
DIFC law applies and DIFC courts have jurisdiction.
