Dubai, UAE. The Arabian Radio Network today launched two new digital radio brands to better serve and grow its Arabic audience.
Al Khaleejiya Classic will be the regions only classic Khaleeji music brand playing tracks from across the gulf from the 80’s and 90’s, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This new brand will be available via the Al Khaleejiya UAE smartphone app. Al Khaleejiya 100.9 is the UAE’s excusive local radio station broadcasting only Khaleeji music to a premium audience of UAE & GCC nationals.
Al Arabiya Cassette will take listeners back to the golden era of Arab music by playing the biggest hits from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, waking up your memories.
The UAE’s most popular Arabic language station, Al Arabiya 99 plays the best of Arabic songs from across the region and has a cosmopolitan audience of local and expat Arabs is also launching a new digital brand extension.
The two digital radio brands complement the output from the existing terrestrial services of Al Khaleejiya 1009 and Al Arabiya 99, offering content not currently available to consumers in the UAE.
Commenting on the new brands, Mahmoud al Rasheed, General Manager of ARN, said: “ARN serves a wide audience of over 190 nationalities, in the world’s most cosmopolitan city, Dubai.
This launch follows our first phase of digital brands launched last year and we are proud to launch these two digital stations to meet audience and advertiser demand and position ARN for further growth in the digital broadcasting industry in the coming years.”
The new digital apps follow ARN’s commitment to on-going innovation. The recent signing of a partnership with E-Life to deliver a live direct stream of all nine terrestrial radio channels direct to consumers in their home 24 hours a day, free of charge. This agreement sits alongside a similar partnership signed with OSN continuing ARN’s mission to be ‘everywhere’.
