Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon
It was a clean sweep by Ethiopia at this year’s Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon. Ethiopian Tamirat Tola won the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon in a course record time of 2 hours, 4 minutes, while the women’s race was won by Ethiopia’s Worknesh Degefa Debele in a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes.

XDubai Spartan Race presented by Etisalat, returned for 2016 at Mleiha, Sharjah on Friday, November 18th. With three different distances, including the Spartan Junior 1.5km; the Spartan Sprint – a 5+ km with 20+ obstacles; and for the 1st time the Spartan Beast – a 20+ km packed with more than 30 obstacles, there was something for everyone.
